What we’ve been up to…
Over the past few months, we’ve quietly been working behind the scenes to give several of our cottages a fresh lease of life. From new cosy furnishings and stylish soft-fixtures, to refreshed décor and upgraded kitchen & bathroom fittings, we’ve pulled out all the stops to make them even more welcoming and comfortable for your next stay.
Some of the enhancements include:

• Comfortable new sofas and armchairs for some perfect “home-away-from-home” vibes.

• Updated kitchens including new work surfaces, extractor fans and sinks

• Refreshed bathrooms: so you can start each day feeling pampered.

• Soft touches too: fresh cushions, throws, new bed-linen combinations, and tasteful artwork to bring a fresh, relaxed countryside feel.

What all this means is: if you stay with us soon, you’ll be stepping into one of our cottages that’s been brought right up to date, with added comfort and style built in, while still retaining the character and warmth you’ve come to expect from a Stamford Cottages stay. Whether you’re planning a quiet couple’s break, a family gathering, or a friends-get-away, you’ll find that little extra ‘wow’ when you step over the threshold.

We’re not stopping at just refurbishing the interiors. Very shortly we’ll be unveiling sneak-peek walkthrough videos of our newly refreshed cottages — so you can take a virtual tour, preview all the little details, and be inspired for your next getaway. Alongside the video content will be styled photo galleries, before-and-after shots and full interior views so you can really see what’s changed.
