Indeed our central location is also a very convenient halfway point for groups travelling from across the country to get together. 

While we pride ourselves on having plenty of amenities to keep you occupied here at the Lily Pad – including our indoor pool – there is also lots on offer for your break locally as well! We are in close proximity to local towns such as Kettering, Oundle and Stamford which offer a range of shopping and eating options for families of all sizes with markets taking place throughout the week offering a range of local produce. 

Also located nearby are a range of leisure and entertainment options to cover even the broadest of interests. 

Fans of the great outdoors can enjoy walking and cycling in miles of unspoilt English countryside, while options for rock climbing, canoeing, stand up paddle boarding and more are all within a 45 minute drive. Corbys “Adrenaline Alley” also provides a unique indoor BMX and extreme sports experience for those thrill seekers booking with us. 

Anyone interested in indulging in a little “retail therapy” will find a range of local vendors and high street favourites at Rushden Lakes – set around a stunning preserved wetlands, with plenty of dining options to boot – while our nearby neighbour Peterborough provides shopping, dining and plenty of historical charm – including the beautiful cathedral which is open year round to visitors as well. 

In addition, we are also ideally located as a self catering accommodation base for the multitude of events that take place in the surrounding area with the likes of Burghley House and  Peterborough show ground bringing regular events and crowds to the area as well.
