Here at The Lily Pad, our central location – between Northampton, Peterborough and Cambridge – make us the ideal spot for visitors coming to the area for one of the many festivals and events that take place in the surrounding area every year.

As winter creeps ever closer, we are already delighted to be looking ahead to next spring and summer and some of the fantastic events taking place.

One that we are particularly looking forward to – not least as its incredibly close by; just up in Burghley – is the Burghley Multisport Weekend.

Burghley Multisport Weekend is full of opportunities for adventure, racing and new experiences which takes place in the surroundings of Burghley House from the 10th – 12th May 2024. The weekend is jam packed with activities and events including open water swimming, half marathons, as well as Triathlon, Aquabike and Duathlon events on the Sunday. Enthusiasts visiting the event will find The Lily Pad the perfect location for their stay – with a cosy warm welcome to look forward to at the end of a hard day – as well as all the facilities you will need to make your stay as comfortable as possible – including laundry facilities for muddy sports kit, high-speed wifi for sharing your post race selfies, and an indoor pool for those not quite up to entering the Great Lake race!
