Updated Fire Assessment 2024-25

At The Lily Pad we take the safety of our guests very seriously and as such have recently undertaken our annual fire safety assessment.

Summary:

The Lily Pad fire risk assessment found the accommodation to be very low risk of fires due to its design, construction and content.

We do however ask all of our guests to help in keeping everyone safe, by please being aware of the following to guidelines as part of our fire preventions and adhere to request made to prevent fires.

  • No candles of any kind including birthday cake candles.
  • No fireworks inside or outside the properties
  • All lights must be turned off when property not occupied.
  • No portable electric heaters
  • Hair straighteners must be used carefully and turned off and left to cool down in a safe position to prevent a fire or scorching.
  • Check oven and hob is off when cooking finished.
  • No smoking inside property, cigarette stubs must be extinguished and disposed of carefully.
  • BBQ rules must be followed. No hot ashes to be placed in bins.
  • No charging of eco bikes or scooters inside property or left to charge overnight.
  • No charging of electric vehicles from accommodation, EV Charger available for charging in request
