We wanted to post today to update you on a few changes to the way we are setup here at the Lily Pad. Of late we have been having to look at ways of changing the way we operate to best position ourselves to deal with the ongoing covid 19 situation – culminating in early January with us going back into national lockdown.

As such – in line with the guidance we are currently not accepting bookings or welcoming holiday renters from anywhere book in for accommodation with us. This is a decision that isnt easy for us to come to – welcoming our guests and spending time with them to make the most of their short breaks with us is one of the highlights of our work day to day, but for the short term, its a change we are having to get used to!

What this change does mean is that over the coming weeks and into the spring, the cottages here on the development are in use and available for flexible short term rentals. As we type, we have a number of cottages let on a short term basis – we have 5 bedroom cottages, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments for let. At present these properties are being made available to key workers needing to isolate from their families at home and families looking for a short term rental option between moving houses, when temporarily available to be at home – following flooding for example – or even families looking to avoid building work.

 

With this in mind – if circumstances mean that you are in need of a flexible short term property rental in the heart of the beautiful Oundle countryside then please be sure to contact us to discuss your requirements with us. As you will see elsewhere on the site, the cottages are all beautifully finished and all feature high-speed fibre internet throughout the properties included for free. In addition, the local village here in Nassington is home to some wonderful businesses and options for takeaway or Food delivery. The only facility here at the Lily Pad that you won’t be able to take advantage of is the pool – which for understandable reasons and in line with national guidelines is currently closed.
