You love dogs. We love dogs. They’re such a big part of the family – why wouldn’t you want to brig your four legged friends on holiday with you?!

We are pleased to say that dogs are very welcome to come and share your holiday with you at The Lily Pad, Nassington. We want our four legged friends to enjoy their break as well so here’s six reasons they’ll love their time at the Lily Pad as well!

1. We are surrounded by green lanes with miles of miles of footpaths are right outside the accommodation. There’s loads to explore and even some friends to meet along the way! \
2. We have plenty of old towels ready to clean muddy paws when you get home. Making sure that you (and the rest of your cottage!) stay looking their best
3. The walks around here can be planned to call into dog friendly pubs. The Angel at Yarwell love doggie visitors and it’s a really nice circular walk from The Lily Pad to Yarwell then along the banks of the River Nene and then back through Nassington passing The Queens Head which also welcomes dogs.
4. Accidents happen sometimes – but don’t worry; In case of emergencies there is a vet in Yarwell to take care of any unplanned issues.
5. Our own dog Pimms is very friendly and is used to welcoming doggie guests. She will share her tennis balls if asked nicely and we can even provide bowls, beds or spare leads if you forget yours.
6. Finally – after a long day making friends, walking the nearby area and generally living there best lives – our underfloor heating is a big hit with tired dogs after their long country walks too to curl up on as well.

We don’t charge extra for your dogs to stay but we do ask for them not to be left alone in the accommodation and are flea treated before arrival.
