Whatever your reason for needing to get away from home The Lily Pad can offer you a comfortable, peaceful place to stay.

The two larger cottages here onsite – which can sleep up to 10 each – have sofas arranged around a coffee table allowing a cozy area to snuggle up, have a glass or two of wine and chit chat the time away with friends that you may have not seen for a while.

We are very popular with all female friendship groups of all ages getting away together. Our location here in Nassington is so central and with great road links (including the A45 an A14) we always tell people that we are “half way from everywhere”. This means the market tows of Oundle and Stamford are within easy reach – along with larger towns like Kettering, Corby and Peterborough where you can find a world of entertainment options.

We know however though that on holiday – some people might prefer to order in. Fortunately – there are some really great food delivery companies in the local area:

• Village Pizza – Delish pizzas and sides
• The White Swan, Woodnewton have a great mini pub menu including Sunday lunch. Online menu
• Star Wok, Hampton – Chinese food and you can order on line 
• King Kebabs, Kings Cliffe – An extensive indian menu plus other family favourites.

If you don’t want to go out to eat then our cottages are all self catering. Why not order your food and drink on line and have it delivered on the day of check in. We happy to take in your delivery so your wine will be chilled on your arrival and your break can begin from the moment you bring your bags in from the car.
