The booking calendar is already starting to fill up for the next few months as families from all corners of the UK book their holidays with us to enjoy their time in Northamptonshire. One very popular for reason for booking with us is our ideal location – close to a number of high-profile events taking place through the summer months.

In just a couple of weeks, foodies from across the local area – and further afield – will descend on Oundle (just a short drive from us in Nassington) for the annual Oundle Food Festival – where you can local producers, demonstrations and a world of delicious food and drink to explore.

Burghley Horse Trials in August is always a very popular event with equestrian fans flocking to the beautiful surroundings of Burghley House. We have a number of bookings already for fans looking to find a home away from home just a stones throw away from the action.

Meantime just up the road in Oundle there are a range of events taking place over the coming months courtesy of the team at Creative Oundle and other arts organisations in the area. The annual Party at the Wharf at Oundle Wharf is always a popular party in July and there are a range of concerts and recitals due to take place – including the ever popular Oundle Fringe.

Just down the road at the East of England Showground – be sure to keep an eye on the events diary of the website for a range of festivals exhibitions and other events taking place all year round but in particular during the summer months.

Slightly further afield – the annual Grand Prix return to Silverstone later in the summer – which is just a short drive from here in Nassington, and in recent days the return of the annual Nene Valley Festival has also been announced; with a fortnights worth of events, tours, open days, concerts and more taking place at a range of venues, galleries and country parks across the Nene Valley region.

Otherwise – don’t forget that we are very close to a number of well appointed towns including Northampton Corby, Kettering, Oundle, Stamford and even Peterborough – all of which offer a plethora of activities and things to do for families.
