Covid 19 Protocols

We are delighted to welcome back guests to the Lily Pad shortly when we reopen to the public.

At present our roadmap to reopening is as follows:

• Single household booking from April 12
• 2 households or rule of 6 from May 17 (no limit on number say if household has 10, rule of 6 they can each be from a different household)
• Normal bookings 21 June

To ensure the total safety of you and your party, our team are working hard implementing a range of cleaning protocols and checklists to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our property and make sure that you are able to relax and focus on making the most of your break away!

To help us with this task – please be sure to take note of the following processes and notes ahead of your arrival. If you have specific questions or concerns that you would like us to address, please be sure to contact us ahead of your arrival. Our pool is available for booking by visitors in accordance with our Covid protocols.

Checking In

For the foreseeable future, we will be operating a simple self check-in that will see us leaving your key in the door of your cottage when you arrive. To allow us to do this, we ask that our guests please take a moment to advise us of their approximate arrival time. As we live next door to the Lily Pad, we are available any time to answer your queries, either by telephone or in person. Contact us on 01780 784394 or 07833 680110.

Risk Assessment

Following the  recommendations from PASC, management at the Lily Pad have completed a risk assessment for us re-opening our cottages from 4th July 2020. This document will be reviewed on a regular monthly basis or sooner should there be changes in the Government guidelines.

Cleaning

A cleaning check list that lists all of our stated Covid-19 protocols has been created for both yours, and our safety and peace of mind. We kindly ask all of our guests to follow the check out guidelines concerning correct processes for the emptying of rubbish bins and stripping of beds at check out.

Covid-19 Cleaning Products

All of our cottages will require disinfecting as well as cleaning between guests. The team will be spraying  with Sodium Hyperchlorite to sanitize the cottages. These additional cleaning steps will take additional time, so check-in times will now be at 5 pm and check- out at 9 am.

Local Food & Drink

As of July 4th, our guests will be able to take advantage of a number of takeaway and delivery options for local Food & Drink. Click here to find details of these options.

Local Lockdowns

Please note our policies and availability may be subject to change due to localised lockdowns. Likewise the management retain the right to refuse bookings from locally locked down areas should these arise in the future. If you are unsure, please be sure to contact us to discuss nearer your booking with us.

Our Pool

Our swimming pool is open and available for use by guests when they stay with us. The pool is available to book in one hour slots that are exclusive to your party to allow you to enjoy the water in total safety. Our pool area is cleaned regularly in line with our covid cleaning protocols.
